The results are in, and the ICE 16-Piece Set is the clear winner! Featuring 16 clear/transparent magnetic tiles, this set is a cool twist on classic MAGNA-TILES. Dream up an aquarium, build a jet plane, and create a brilliant diamond — or incorporate your favorite MAGNA-TILES arctic animals with your igloos and ice castles. The best part is, nothing melts when you build with ICE.
We built a little aquarium with the transparent tiles and my kids were mesmerized watching the light bounce through them. The set is small but the clear panels make every structure feel special. Definitely a nice twist on the usual colored squares.
The clear tiles make the light shine through in a way the solid colored ones just don't, so my son keeps building "windows" for his little toy animals. Sixteen pieces is enough to get started but we'll definitely be adding more.
My 4-year-old has been building "aquariums" with these clear tiles all week, and the way the colors show through when she stacks them is honestly prettier than the solid ones we already had. The magnets snap together firmly enough that her towers don't collapse every five seconds.
